00hello is not there hey that's me and then to the idea very well yourself sir all man pretty well sorry i'm uh... like calling the or about time and uh... my growth oh wow yes what you doing over there teaching uh... english of the orphanage nice that's cool

52and you ever thought doing anything like that you know teaching in the third world country on i mean i traveled around a lot in uh... in china when i was uh... when i was a kid and sort of out in the budget you know i can go visit uh... no she didn't be back in december i thought i thought i got work to do it cool are you into music

39chairman i i think it's oh yeah i i think music no i mean really into music into music so bad you tell your significant other to be quiet when you hear a new song on the radio into music so bad you'll buy a cv because one of the tracks of the killer twelve second guitar solo on it in the music so bad that a concert you hit the mosh band fight to the delt again i secured it and talked to the band only to be thrown out cg i'd use match shikter can help every thursday at seven and friday at eleven mat has your back stage pass and free-door down special for you and i think it's jordan strumblop was so much music is co-hosting you're gonna back to the past i'm not sure and i'm here with hoxie workman alright i'm here with sam robert you know three number one songs in kennel

25you know what's the features on the band's simple plan you're with the truth i guess do it match shikter gives your very own back stage pass thursday at seven on eighty eight point three cj iq first morning ever to have seen the sun must have run the other way just a found that it was only getting earlier winch is one hundred eighty degrees and beheld the sweet light rising through the trees felt to her knees and she began to smile she had been in darkness for a long long while

14she said there is nothing that i can do sessin ever to have learned this way must have been supply all i can say is i'm just glad that i survived

00and the first river ever to admit the sea i believe it must have started all this rambling after all i have just been long song so

46you it's a fine it's a good

01eighty eight point three cj iq you're listening to backstage past my name is match shikter you just heard brand new music from bend taylor off the album another run around the sun nothing i can do kick off track to the record bends on the phone how are you doing out in san francisco this week very nice just wrapping up your solo tour right now yeah i've been out to talk to some of our very nice and show you you think that's right yeah actually i think she's a phenomenal songwriter and even being a fan i'd long-term so many do you ever do any duets with her on stage ever doing like that

47yeah we've been doing knocking on heaven door on our way they have sometimes we do i used to be a sailor it's been really nice that's cool yeah she i've i've been a big fan of hers for a long time she uh... and then and completely blew my mind so it's so cool want to talk to you about the new record just played the listeners nothing i can do it's my favorite track on the record personally all good man well you know what i shouldn't say that because i love surround me but i like the acoustic version better so yeah i think that uh... you know i think that the uh... i think that it's nice to ever get to know really

37yeah no back and then the sun no i mean you know the bend taylor ban was really just an attempt to understand that they have to have um... and you know that was all right but then i ended up getting on stage with bands and and these songs which were really brought into it nice to be playing that way with your mom as well just solo who's there absolutely cool very nice maybe i'm gonna get a bad and on a couple of songs for this uh... but i'm i'm a little bit of a dynamic you know it's also nice when you get like a

22if you if you play in a room that the bar at the back yeah and i hear you quiet definitely how can we start the record off of that song with nothing i can do uh... i just thought it was i thought it stood up pretty well i like the introduction to it that uh... that guitar that little guitar descending guitar position and i think that was the first one that i wrote for the album i've had around for cool talk about a whole bunch of stuff uh... with then taylor in a little bit want to play another song uh... an older one will put we'll get to some new stuff off the record as well but i've been a fan for a long time so i want to play safe enough to wake up and uh... what do you think when you hear that song if you have to wake up years and i haven't played that here it is eighty eight point three

22also with me i know some things that you have to go to believe in if you're feeling afraid that we can make a dream and get you one of your most of the everyone's broken off the whole school magical portion just going off steam aqua mama and i think that you never learn to regret stop trying to guess what's coming up next

52and and

47eighty eight point three c j i q yes or bend tailors safe enough to wake up speaking with the man himself on the phone i'm sure you've been asked this question quite a bit but uh... i feel the need to ask it again it must have been a lot of effort before that i might have the standard better chance of having a good answer must have been a lot of pressure when you first started playing i mean obviously with both your parents james taylor karly simon huge musical forces in the in the past fifty years do you still feel pressure to play uh... pressure to play pressure uh... just even to live up to expectations i mean obviously you've you started your own career you do quite well for yourself but you still a little bit of pressure yeah i mean the expectation living up to the expectation i think that i've been i've been lucky and the patient better come from that can be a

46your parents listening records at all my mom can't take it out of the city already yet to the key that's awesome my old man i don't know i don't know really yeah i never never been a big big and classical music please and i was quite quiet while i know kind of guy who well makes sense i guess on the cover rolling stone a couple months ago with all the other rockstar kids

34yeah we had all the brass lined up like that you guys all party a lot do you guys friends or is it just kind of you know that one-off thing they put you all in the cover and you're like cool no some some of them see each other more than others i think uh... i i i i'm not friends cool you ever expect to be on the cover rolling stone uh... yeah yeah i have been before when i was kind of good already cool talk about american dreams in just a little bit want to play uh... song you wrote for that show up did you write it for the show or did they just kind of say do you got anything for us how did that work that the first time i ever wrote to the truth really

24cool so talk about that will play uh... place around me right now we're talking about a little before and then we'll talk about american dreams we get back love around me with all your reach now while we're here alone now our bodies are all shinning lessons of waves and stones floating alone these sound you found me

10now that the tide is finally down surround me and still across your face who's a moon weak from standing on sandy ground you found me

01now that i'm finally falling down surround me these waves before running to save my life

59and leaving you now in the heat of this blood for dry the eight point three cjq kisley is joining us band taylor on the phone

47he just heard surround me from the american dream soundtrack also on his new record another run around the sun how come it got canceled it was my favorite show what happened i couldn't tell you man and today the truth the odd thing about it is having even been on a couple of times i've never seen it over yet i'm allergic to badly allergic to tell it i used to watch it every weekend with my dad we sit there and be like this is exactly what it was like back in the day well it's probably too good it's a good handle the quality of the room who came on the other side would you ever act again into that now um... you know i've been the way that i look at the acting is that it's got to be i'm not trained

56is smooth in real life as you are i guess you said your girlfriend now but really a ladies man like you were in the show then uh... you know i've always i've always had to admit as do i which leads me to my next question any chance i can get britney snows phone number from you britney snows that the girl from american dreams the blonde one oh god that girl no i didn't have a picture of any of the girls and so i mean i thought i'm pretty i'm i'm i'm pretty solitary kind of guy i i've been into but i have a lot

48fair enough play on the tune uh... what's your favorite of the new album uh... i think that i like that you must have fallen on one man day when you play uh... you must have fallen you can blame back to back if you want whoa why not rolling in time

42you and i know where do we go what do we say it's only it's okay

14it was in my place it wasn't designed it's the same

28but i'm you got something for me it's so amazing i wouldn't believe it it's so strange i could never conceive come on you must have fallen down from out of the sky we're too high for crying around that's where the dad you must be some kind of who's in this car the way your heart made me come i'm not sure that nothing is gained

20so what's the sense of running away the medicine's got something to say i know my lord the options are like i can hear you enchanting the nights so it's perfectly clear that i got nothing to lose and nothing to fear and i got nothing to do except the one to ring it you must have fallen down from out of the sky we're too high for crying around that's where the dad you must be some kind of who's in the sky the way your heart made me come is down you must have fallen straight out of the sky you got too high for crying around

06that's where the dad you must be some kind of who's in this car the way you make me feel when you come down through the sky like rain you must have fallen baby bringing the water in the summer when it's hot the day you brought the daily and smile a query say you must have heard me calling you must have fallen down from out of the sky the way you were too high for crying around that's where the dad you must be some kind of who's in the sky

54the way your heart made me come is down you must have fallen straight out of the sky you got too high for crying around that's where the dad you must be some kind of who's in this car the way your heart made me feel when you're coming to the ground 88.3 cjq you just heard you must have fallen and one man day both off the brand new bend tailor record another run around the sun bend tailor on the phone kevin bachen produced this record when i saw that it's the same come bachen i'm thinking of no it's not as a funny story that i have about it that when kevin bachen the actor met kevin bachen the producer

40the actor said to the producer i just want to thank you because kevin bachen the producers said to kevin bachen the actor well i'd just like to thank you for the look of the thousandation when i show up and they find i'm not you that's awesome yeah you started iris records have you ever thought of producing would you want to get into that one day sooner or later i need to uh i need to get my feet that's exactly what i don't want to do you signed fisher i talked to fisher this summer any chance of signing any more acts like what's the plan for iris records i know you want to do it to release this cd but well out of the future really really the the the long term plan
