05So this is exciting. It is. You're now the host. We all know who. I can talk about it. You say, yes, I am the host. And what was it like? The experience you're doing on the race, it was crazy. It was intense, for sure. And it was a challenge for me, which was also welcome to something that I've never done either. So it was definitely living outside my comfort zone. But the race itself was amazing. Were you looking for new challenges? I mean, winning a gold medalist. I wasn't seeking this out, but when it landed on my doorstep. If I had looked the other way or said, I've got too much on my plate right now, I can't do this. I know that I would have regretted it for the rest of my life. So this was a welcomed opportunity at a good time as well. It couldn't have happened in a better month than May, for me, really. Oh, you shut this recently?

52He recently is a few weeks ago. Oh, wow. OK. And I hear that you're getting more involved than Phil got in. Like, everyone sees the amazing page for the States. Phil does his little things at the end. He's kind of in between things. But you're trying to almost antagonize people from whatever it is. I don't know about antagonize, but I'm definitely going to be showing the folks at home what the racers are about to experience from the host perspective. So are you doing the challenges? I am doing some of the challenges. Yeah. The ones that we could with time-wise get filmed and so on. So I'm doing the more dangerous ones, the more challenging ones, the more exciting ones, the ones that I actually, I got to do everything. There wasn't anything that happened that I didn't get to try that I wanted to do. Can you talk about any of them? Was there a favorite? No, I mean, there wasn't a favorite. But there was definitely a lot of moments. Do you have the most fearing, daring?

37You are going to see some things that are going to make the hair on the back of your neck stand up if you've got any less adventurous bones in your body, for sure. Did you watch Phil? Did you watch the American one knowing this was coming up? To prepper, did you want to go in fresh and beat? This is my own show. This is my own character. You know, I wanted to be myself, for sure. But I did watch Phil and have seen him certainly do his gig as being a fan of the show. But I didn't study it to try and be as Phil like as possible. Get all my mannerisms down. You know, I didn't study him like that. But I did want to see how he conducted himself, how he handled different situations that arose on the show to get an idea of maybe where to take things or how to do it in my own way, I guess. Some sort of screeching bench.

22I hear this in the background. I don't know if they're killing cats or not. But I hope it's a squeaky floor. Maybe that's one of them. Maybe it's a human-based great challenge. Something's going down. Name what's happening. Oh, wow, that really worked. I cut it out. So Calgary, I've lived there for a long time. There's a track. Yes. You're going across Canada. Yes. You're a skeleton racer. Is it true? Is there something in the show with that perhaps mountain of stuff? No. I don't believe that there is. No. They don't see it. Are you throwing me off because you're not allowed to say? Or is there actually nothing? Because I feel like that should be a thing that's. You know what? You'll have to tune in to Find Out for sure. But it's not going to be anything to, this is John Montgomery, this is what he does in your face about my previous life. Previous life, so no Russia. Well, I have to earn that yet.

10And so I say previous as in, I haven't trained for three weeks because of the show. So once I get back to training, three weeks. So once I get back to it, I can say my current life as well. Is there training involved in a show like this? I was in the intention. I was there. I had my training shoes. I had some training equipment with me. And none of it got used really at all. I got in two sessions. That was about it. And it was at the end of Long Bay. So maybe they weren't as purposeful as they could have been. But yeah, back to my job now, which is getting ready for earning a spot in Sochi. All right, brother. Thank you. That was great.
